Our Dance Studio

Dang it's Hot. Lucky for us we have the AC running at the studio. We are supposed to have a bit of coolness starting Wednesday, Good!

Then again the image contains our KOOL Extended Dance Family in a group shot from our first show of this 2026 season at the Centralia Cultural Center.

We are working on routines for our upcoming appearances at the Rollin' On The River Dance Convention (ticketed) as well as the St. Louis Art Fair coming this September. These shows are voluntary for our students/Dance Family. It is a commitment of time and energy plus the class cost of $10 PP.

Just a note here. The routines that we use can also be danced without the group. You learn the routine & it is yours to keep and share with others. No NDA required at the end of the day. We only ask not to share the routines until after the event. We do want to surprise our audience.

It has been a bit since the last post. We have multiple dance teams working on upcoming performances. To say they are excited would not be out of line. They are none the less committed to the task and having a bit of fun too.

One event will be the St. Louis Art fair that takes place in downtown Clayton MO. The other is a private event called Rollin' On The River. It is a dance convention hosted by the West County Swing Dance Club.

Now the image is of a group that was assembled by some of our students and enlisted dancers from the local dance clubs and our studio. It was collectively called the Pink Ladies for this routine. They used music from "Grease". Their group name fits of course. They were great at the Centralia IL show. We know they also wowed at least 2 local dance clubs with this routine. Plenty of smiles were given and welcomed.

There are heat warnings out and about the area so stay hydrated and watch out for each other while you are dancing.

Well it's Tuesday July 7 and the country made it to 250 years. No small effort there my fellow citizens.

Now being Tuesday and the Collins family is back from a road trip we will be having our Advanced Group class tomorrow starting just after 7:00 PM. We hope to see you then. Not an advanced dancer or not sure? You are welcome to stop by at our St. Ann Studio to check out the what we are up too.

Well now, last Saturday we did a thing with our dance family we performed 12 routines celebrating the Roaring 20's with the Red Hat Ladies club. We will have more photos soon but we wanted to share this one of Stan & Mary now.

We also want our advanced dancers to know that we are moving the Wednesday JULY 1 group class to MONDAY JUNE 29! We hope you can make it. Stan will be reminding the classes next Wednesday as well. We will be sending out an email to our dancers that are not on Facebook or IG as well. We don't want to miss anyone.

Don't forget that there is a St. Louis Ballroom Dancers event this Saturday at the Jost Chemical event center that Stan will be hosting.

Tuesday already. To our fellow swing dancers @ West County Swing have a fun time tonight at your weekly dance.

To our Ballroom group we are having our usual advanced group classes tomorrow evening starting @ 7:10.

Just so you know any of you fine dancers that were involved with the performance for the Red Hat Ladies club last Saturday, the pics and videos taken by Carlos are ready and available. Bring a flash drive.

Last June we performed for the St. Louis Ballroom dancers monthly dance. This coming Saturday we will be performing for the Red Hat Ladies club in a private performance. Going to be a fun time.

Always have a good time with our Dance Family. We will be working on our routines one more time on Wednesday evening. It's is about goals, sharing the load and of course the fun of performing for a group that appreciates the process.
