U Can Dance Ballroom Studio in St Louis Mo has been in business since 1991 and provides a fun, healthy environment for all ages to learn how to ballroom dance.
We offer both private and group lessons in dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Salsa. We provide lessons in all wedding dances, Night Club, Freestyle, Tap, Ballet, Jazz-Hip Hop and many more! We welcome and encourage everyone to come to our studio, from beginners through advanced levels, ages 3 to over 80 years!
Our nationally recognized and award-winning staff make learning to dance fun and easy, and you’ll feel completely at home in our friendly atmosphere. We train students for competitions as well.

It's Friday finally! Trees are starting to flower and as far as that goes it better be Spring.
Dances are happening this weekend for the ballroom enthusiasts. Which includes Swing, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Waltz, maybe some Polka, Rumba, you name it it will probably happen.
Where: Casa Loma Ballroom tonight! Gateway City Big Band will be playing. Starting @ 8:00 PM. $12 at the door. Should be a fun time. Paid/guarded parking across the street.
7:30PM Saturday night a Jost Chemical Hall (see our events Tab) Stan will be providing the music for the St. Louis Ballroom Dancers club until 10:30PM. $10 PP at the door.

Tuesday already! Sooo Wednesday is on the horizon. That means our Advanced Group classes are making their weekly appearance. We start them a little after 7:00pm and cover Smooth or Standard styles in the first session, then Latin or Rhythm styles in the second session after 8:00pm.
There is a show coming up in April that the formation team is working with Stan Collins. The show is happening in Centralia IL at the Cultural Center. The Lights & Lens club has us performing to a "One Hits Wonder" theme on April 26. This will be a fun event. Many of our students have performed in the past for this group and are looking forward to it.
Perhaps your group is having a special event this year. Maybe U Can Dance can help. All you need to do is ask. After all we have been on the Fabulous Fox stage for a special event as well as a Red Hat Lady group. We are sure we can help with yours.

Hmm, 3/14 Pi day! And the last day to nominate U Can Dance Studio on STLMAG.com for the 2025 AList Dance Company entry. It is under the Arts&Entertainment Section. Just scroll on down as it's in alphabetical order. While you are there browse all the categories and vote on your favorite local businesses and professionals. We are certainly doing that. You know fave eateries, clubs, hair stylists. 😉

Less than a month from now we will be starting a new set of Beginner Ballroom group classes. Wednesday April 9 @ 6:30 ~ 7:15pm and for 2 more Wednesday evenings. All for $45 per person. Partners are not required but not discouraged either. The more dancers on the floor the more fun we have. This is a prepaid class. You can stop by our studio or register via our website. Meanwhile our Advanced group class will be meeting to keep the floor warm for you. Small fact, they were beginners once upon a time. We have all been there.

Looks like the weather will not be an issue this coming weekend.
So it's not long now till we head to our first dance competition for 2025. Less than a month from now we will be heading to Indianapolis for the Open Dancesport Comp. The first weekend in April.
The following weekend will find us at the Centralia Cultural Society hall in Centralia IL for the Light & Lens Dance Expo on April 15. We will be dancing to some of the "One Hit Wonders". Going to be good times.
We hope you are on the dance floor at some point over the weekend. Don't forget to support our musicians that bring us live music. WE DO.

The studio will be offering a 3 week Beginner Group class starting April 9 for $45 per person. A pre-payment is required or you can visit the studio before the date of the sessions.
This Wednesday evening class will start @ 6:30pm for 3 consecutive weeks
