U Can Dance Ballroom Studio in St Louis Mo has been in business since 1991 and provides a fun, healthy environment for all ages to learn how to ballroom dance.
We offer both private and group lessons in dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Salsa. We provide lessons in all wedding dances, Night Club, Freestyle, Tap, Ballet, Jazz-Hip Hop and many more! We welcome and encourage everyone to come to our studio, from beginners through advanced levels, ages 3 to over 80 years!
Our nationally recognized and award-winning staff make learning to dance fun and easy, and you’ll feel completely at home in our friendly atmosphere. We train students for competitions as well.

The U Can Dance Studio welcomed Rauno ILo for a day of coaching our advanced dancers. He is a co-owner of the Starlite Dance Studio in Indianapolis IN. Rauno is one of the organizers of the Indianapolis Dancesport Comp.
It was a busy day and we asked our photographer to capture a few images of what coaching advanced dancers looks like. This is not the first time Rauno has helped us out. A different set of experienced eyes helps when some moves aren't quite right.
Since it is Friday we wish all of our followers a safe and pleasant weekend. We also hope you dance. 😉

Yes coaching with Rauno is a wonderful learning experience for any level of dancer. Always there is new choreography to learn, improving technique, moving more effectively and efficiently, getting coached by a multiple world champion. It is well worth it. Even if you are just doing groups or dance socially, you can be a better and more fabulous dancer. Why not look fabulous on the dance floor?
Dang! I did not know it is National Hugging Day! Makes sense, we can use all that warmness for sure!
We were scrolling on the FB Feed and came across someone's Birthday that we met in 2017. We were all involved with the America's Birthday parade or the July 4 VP Fair Parade for a few of us. We were performing on a float with a live band. The singer was "Skeet Rogers" along with the Inner City Blues Band (ICBB) and his 60th birthday was yesterday! Carlos Fordsen was busy with camera in hand. He caught us all looking his way when the float joined the parade.
More than once we had our students in the St. Louis July 4 Parades. Having a fun time dancing and sharing the fun with the crowd. This makes us feel just a bit warmer seeing it is 9 degrees outside today.
We hope to see our Advanced Dancers at the evening group class tomorrow starting @ 7:00PM

The day just slipped right on by today. Hope all has been well for you & yours today.
So tomorrow is Wednesday which means it is Advanced Group Class time. We start @ 7:00 PM with Standard/Smooth styles then in the 8 to 9PM we switch to Latin/Rhythm styles.
Not sure if you are advanced or not? Stop on over and check out the action. Talk to us, we always ready to welcome new dancers. We have started some new routines and it would not take any time at all to catch you up.

Well our first "Snow" for 2025 is progressing as we post this. It is January and we are in the Northern Hemisphere, above the sub tropical range so Mother Nature & Old Man Winter are cooperating. Hoping all of our extended family are at home & warm.
Members of the Studio Staff and Students were in 5 different performances in 2024. The images are from the Rollin on the River dance convention. It is held over the Labor Day weekend and hosted by the West County Swing Club.
The images are from the afternoon practice and the evening performance. The dancers all know we were photo shooting the practice. We were all getting ready for the evening performance. Over the years that the studio has been asked to perform it has been standing room only. So it was for the 2024 edition. So the bottom image is a snapshot from the video that we also took that evening.
The studio is already booked for a performance at the Centralia Cultural center in Centralia IL. in April of 2025. So we are busy already.
